Saturnino Txartiko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aziz Akarsu in the 29th minute of play. Academia Club's Saturnino Txartiko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aziz Akarsu in the 34th minute of play. Severo Goiz's late challenge caught a Deportivo Mukenio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Severo Goiz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th match minute, Academia Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severo Goiz to maneuver through the defense. Saturnino Txartiko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aziz Akarsu in the 44th minute of play.

A collision led to Academia Club getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Luo Wei Bang hit a great ball. Aziz Akarsu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Saturnino Txartiko having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cahit Eker in the 72nd minute of play forced Deportivo Mukenio's goalkeeper Arnoldo Donzel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aziz Akarsu in the 80th minute of play forced Academia Club's goalkeeper Saturnino Txartiko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
