An unexpectedly hard shot by Arkhip Ilyin in the 17th minute of play forced Peñaloza's goalkeeper Zarco Figueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aquiles Xabat made a kick off. Zarco Figueira was left in no man's land by his defense there! 91 minutes into the match, Peñaloza's goal looked a bit too open when Kacper Trochowski came free, but Zarco Figueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The chacarita juniors fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when chacarita juniors's Eleuterio Paulin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The chacarita juniors fans cheered their team off the field, for while Peñaloza had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
