Mario Cejas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. SAN LORENZO FC's Lisandro Nuñez got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 34 minutes into the game, Albano Brun recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dario Astigar. Albano Brun showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. 38 minutes into the match, SAN LORENZO FC's goalkeeper Dario Astigar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Danilo Bibiano. Pedro Luís Munhoz hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Lisandro Nuñez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Mario Cejas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute of the match SAN LORENZO FC got a corner. Padrón 1744's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Allan Blom ran over to the corner to take the kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Danilo Bibiano was the one to do the kick off. Dario Astigar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ragnar Fransson in the 51st minute of play. Mario Cejas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lisandro Nuñez, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Dario Astigar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albano Brun went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Dario Astigar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albano Brun in the 60th minute of the match. Dario Astigar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Luís Munhoz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th match minute, Padrón 1744 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcin Wolniewicz to maneuver through the defense. SAN LORENZO FC made a substitution. Isaias Rosario replaced Allan Blom. A collision led to Padrón 1744 getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Marcin Wolniewicz hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the match, Padrón 1744's goal looked a bit too open when Ciriaco Cordarrell came free, but Mario Cejas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Tiniebra in the 77th minute of play forced Padrón 1744's goalkeeper Mario Cejas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Padrón 1744's goalkeeper Mario Cejas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciriaco Cordarrell. The supporters of SAN LORENZO FC booed when Padrón 1744 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustino Txurio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd match minute, SAN LORENZO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Quintas to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that Padrón 1744 were the better team. Padrón 1744's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
