Gerardo Lordi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Vedillo having to interfere. Gerardo Lordi scored 0-2 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jeremias Vedillo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Haroldo Manex hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Haroldo Manex got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 23 minutes into the game, Gerardo Lordi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Jeremias Vedillo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jeremias Vedillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witomir Pisarczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Jeremias Vedillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Lordi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39thth minute of the game Gerardo Lordi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Volvimos mejores's Jeremias Vedillo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jeremias Vedillo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Witomir Pisarczyk's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Andreas Landgren hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

In the 51st minute Habakkuk Shearer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pontus Nordström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 53 minutes into the game, when Jose Nuxila put in a rough tackle. Santa Margarita made a substitution. Pontus Nordström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Santa Margarita's Klaus Mohammadi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jeremias Vedillo. That made the score 0-5 after 82 minutes of play. Haroldo Manex's late challenge caught a Santa Margarita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Haroldo Manex helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Volvimos mejores's Haroldo Manex got a free kick in the 90th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Santa Margarita walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
