Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guiñazú FC's Armando Monico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piara Veloz in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute Vamos Los Pibes!!!! were awarded a corner. Daniel Brun went to the cornerflag to take it. Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s Andrzej Dobrowski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Armando Monico in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cristian Beliran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Piara Veloz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armando Monico was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Eliseo Sagrario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Emesto in the 19th minute of the match. Jan Hendrik Lange took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armando Monico. Armando Monico dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to Guiñazú FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Cirilo Orain hit a great ball. With his leg Eliseo Sagrario managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Guiñazú FC's Ali Modrić fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Piara Veloz in the 32nd minute of play forced Guiñazú FC's goalkeeper Armando Monico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Jan Hendrik Lange had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armando Monico. Guiñazú FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jan Hendrik Lange was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Andrzej Dobrowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Monico having to interfere. Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s Jan Hendrik Lange got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 47 minutes into the match, Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s goal looked a bit too open when Ali Modrić came free, but Eliseo Sagrario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Piara Veloz was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Beliran in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Monico prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 55th match minute, Guiñazú FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermegildo Rivero to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Modrić in the 57th minute of play forced Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s goalkeeper Eliseo Sagrario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Guiñazú FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Dalmacio Sazon hit a great ball. In the 61st minute, Piara Veloz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vamos Los Pibes!!!! fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 64th match minute, Vamos Los Pibes!!!! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Brun to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Jan Hendrik Lange could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Armando Monico however easily saved by the left post. Piara Veloz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Guiñazú FC defense, Piara Veloz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armando Monico. The Guiñazú FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armando Monico should have stopped the shot. 80 minutes into the match, Guiñazú FC's goal looked a bit too open when Piara Veloz came free, but Armando Monico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Armando Monico managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s Piara Veloz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Armando Monico made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan Hendrik Lange in the 87th minute. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Guiñazú FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Brun was slow to take the kick. During this time Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Daniel Brun almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Guiñazú FC's Armando Monico did a great save. Ali Modrić missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 94 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Eliseo Sagrario right hand side. The Vamos Los Pibes!!!! supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vamos Los Pibes!!!! would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
