The audience was convinced that Fernan Garoa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. After the first half Zuberbühler FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

55 minutes into the game, Clodoveo Ignado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Garrapatita Futbol's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zuberbühler FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Garrapatita Futbol's Clodoveo Ignado got a free kick in the 56th minute. Hermengildo Jaume stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florentino Lastur's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Florentino Lastur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Hermengildo Jaume made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florentino Lastur got free with Hermengildo Jaume in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
