In the 13th minute, Saul Lamberto made a precise shot to the right of Nektarios Varveris. La Gallardeta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Abel Ponciano hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute, Saul Baumer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nektarios Varveris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florentino Lastur in the 28th minute of play. Zuberbühler FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Saul Baumer in the 29th minute. Zuberbühler FC's Saul Baumer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nektarios Varveris in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Florentino Lastur came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Zuberbühler FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florentino Lastur couldn't finish the play. Rigoberto Abarca kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saul Baumer in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nektarios Varveris saved La Gallardeta from getting behind. 36 minutes into the match, La Gallardeta's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Berart came free, but Nektarios Varveris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timos Karabelas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 41st minute, Timos Karabelas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute of the match Jacinto Loramendi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nektarios Varveris skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Zuberbühler FC's Mariano Berart got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Zuberbühler FC's Venancio Calisto got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kjell Alsvik in the 63rd minute of the match. When La Gallardeta's Kjell Alsvik in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Měchura in the 76th minute of the match. La Gallardeta's Anibal Sengrat got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zuberbühler FC's Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Sengrat in the 85th minute of play. If Marciano Min had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Měchura in the 89th minute of play forced Zuberbühler FC's goalkeeper Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Zuberbühler FC booed when La Gallardeta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Leizarraga didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Zuberbühler FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
