The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Henry Gonzales made in the 3rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jesus Rafe however managed to control. 5 minutes into the match, Teobaldo Jenaro notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of El ABUELO FC's Orlando Rudolfo. Orlando Rudolfo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 8 minutes into the match, Edelmiro Velasco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Orlando Rudolfo. El ABUELO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edelmiro Velasco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. El ABUELO FC's Orlando Rudolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edelmiro Velasco in the 13th minute of play. After 14 minutes of play, Mechita F.C's Teobaldo Jenaro made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Orlando Rudolfo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alessio Treglia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidoro Azevedo in the 16th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Edelmiro Velasco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Orlando Rudolfo. A collision led to El ABUELO FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Flaco Schiavi hit a great ball. In the 29th minute Vladimiro Ledesma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Rudolfo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Omar Quinton hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the game, Mechita F.C's Vladimiro Ledesma nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Orlando Rudolfo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Jesus Rafe hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute of the match Laurence Peacock sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alessio Treglia skillfully saved the ball. Mechita F.C's Alessio Treglia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Mechita F.C from getting a goal against them. Isidoro Azevedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Alessio Treglia made a huge save. In the 42nd minute, Vladimiro Ledesma left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mechita F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. After the first half Mechita F.C were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st minute, Mechita F.C's Teobaldo Jenaro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. El ABUELO FC's Orlando Rudolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edelmiro Velasco in the 53rd minute of play. After 57 played minutes El ABUELO FC got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Etxekopar. With a little luck, El ABUELO FC's Orlando Rudolfo got control of the ball when Teobaldo Jenaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Orlando Rudolfo stood somewhat misplaced when Edelmiro Velasco came free in front of goal and shot 0-8 to the left of him in the 63 minute. After 66 played minutes El ABUELO FC got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Azevedo. Mechita F.C made a substitution. Guillermo Errapel replaced Edelmiro Velasco. Orlando Rudolfo came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Mechita F.C's Vladimiro Ledesma. But to his dismay, Vladimiro Ledesma quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. 71 minutes into the match, Mechita F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Columbo came free, but Alessio Treglia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orlando Rudolfo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vladimiro Ledesma in the 72nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guillermo Errapel got free with Orlando Rudolfo in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mechita F.C made a substitution. Richard Lanckneus replaced Teobaldo Jenaro. In the 76th match minute, El ABUELO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Raebert to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Richard Lanckneus got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Guillermo Errapel succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-10 in the 77th playminute. After 81 played minutes El ABUELO FC got a freekick which was hit by Flaco Schiavi. Orlando Rudolfo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vladimiro Ledesma went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-11 was the resulting score. Orlando Rudolfo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Lanckneus, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded Mechita F.C left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than El ABUELO FC.
