Jimeno Nevada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximus Ayuso, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavino Rami in the 18th minute of play forced ELPORVE's goalkeeper Edelmiro Cresconio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Club Atlético Magallanes's Jimeno Nevada got control of the ball when Qian Jun Bo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 30th minute of the match Club Atlético Magallanes got a corner. ELPORVE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ruperto Salvadore ran over to the corner to take the kick. Club Atlético Magallanes's Ruperto Salvadore was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edelmiro Cresconio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gavino Rami received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Edelmiro Cresconio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the ELPORVE defense, Taci Argün kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edelmiro Cresconio. The ELPORVE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edelmiro Cresconio should have stopped the shot. Edelmiro Cresconio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavino Rami in the 41st minute of the match. Edelmiro Cresconio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavino Rami in the 44th minute of play. In the 47th minute Taci Argün shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Cresconio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Qian Jun Bo to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Magallanes's goal looked a bit too open when Qian Jun Bo came free, but Jimeno Nevada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Qian Jun Bo in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jimeno Nevada prevented the ball from getting in the gole. ELPORVE's Edelmiro Cresconio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save ELPORVE from getting a goal against them. When Felix Sol fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ELPORVE's protests and gave Felix Sol a yellow card for diving instead. Club Atlético Magallanes made a substitution. Jan Sierocki replaced Taci Argün. In the 71st match minute, ELPORVE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Sol to maneuver through the defense. 77 minutes into the match, ELPORVE's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Sierocki came free, but Edelmiro Cresconio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute Jan Sierocki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Cresconio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Epifanio Lauro took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jimeno Nevada. Jimeno Nevada dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 88th minute, Hernan Felipillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Jan Sierocki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edelmiro Cresconio was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Club Atlético Magallanes's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ruperto Salvadore in the 95th minute. Ruperto Salvadore made a great header on Club Atlético Magallanes's corner, it was just that ELPORVE's Edelmiro Cresconio managed to reach the ball for a save. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
