Sergio Leocadio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Benjamin Price when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 17 minutes Characate FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Haroldo Baldovino who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on RED DEVIL's corner Haroldo Baldovino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Benjamin Price quite easily take care of the ball. Ali Cafer Konuralp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Txanton in the 19th minute of play. In the 23rd minute Gerardo Santikurtz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Cafer Konuralp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Characate FC's Benjamin Price proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Characate FC from getting a goal against them. 31 minutes into the match, Characate FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Leocadio came free, but Benjamin Price reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamin Price made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sergio Leocadio in the 32nd minute. Ali Cafer Konuralp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Santikurtz in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Fernando Barreiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. RED DEVIL's Ali Cafer Konuralp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Txanton in the 40th minute of play. In the 47th match minute, RED DEVIL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Astor Leoiar to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leopoldo Afonso to strike the kick off in the second half. Benjamin Price didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sergio Leocadio went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Afonso in the 58th minute of play forced RED DEVIL's goalkeeper Ali Cafer Konuralp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomás Romo hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Leopoldo Afonso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ali Cafer Konuralp having to make a save. The supporters of Characate FC booed when RED DEVIL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Leocadio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamin Price came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by RED DEVIL's Sergio Leocadio. But to his dismay, Sergio Leocadio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Leopoldo Afonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ali Cafer Konuralp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benjamin Price showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Romo, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After 82 played minutes RED DEVIL got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Leocadio. Leopoldo Afonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. RED DEVIL had won after a very even match.
