Prospero Petri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Kaan Safir made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Ledesma in the 10th minute of play forced Chivos's goalkeeper Kaan Safir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kaan Safir made an important save on a dangerous shot by Prospero Petri in the 12th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Chivos's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Ledesma came free, but Kaan Safir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Chivos getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. 武耀卫 hit a great ball. Ceferino Monte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Kaan Safir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patay Juniors's Cayetano Francho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Cordara in the 21st minute of play. Wilfredo Cordara took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cayetano Francho. Cayetano Francho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Patay Juniors's goalkeeper Cayetano Francho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Ledesma in the 24th minute of play forced Chivos's goalkeeper Kaan Safir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Wilfredo Cordara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chivos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Patay Juniors the free kick. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Patay Juniors's goalkeeper Cayetano Francho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pedro Jaunti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cayetano Francho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wilfredo Cordara went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 37 minutes into the match, Chivos's goal looked a bit too open when Cedric Ceballos came free, but Kaan Safir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Patay Juniors's goalkeeper Cayetano Francho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cayetano Francho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Cordara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ermegildo Ubendu made a great header on Chivos's corner, it was just that Patay Juniors's Cayetano Francho managed to reach the ball for a save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Kaan Safir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Ledesma in the 55th minute of play. Cayetano Francho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Cordara, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Chivos's 武耀卫 managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Justino Pinto in the 65 minute of the game. Pedro Jaunti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Cayetano Francho made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Wilfredo Cordara put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Cayetano Francho. After a rather tough play, Patay Juniors's Justino Pinto got a free kick in the 70th minute. Chivos made a substitution. Isaac Bohlin replaced Pedro Jaunti. After 72 played minutes Patay Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Justino Pinto. Justino Pinto hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Wilfredo Cordara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chivos's Angel Diagur was substituted for Wilfredo Cordara. Justino Pinto charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Justino Pinto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Justino Pinto hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute Prospero Petri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaan Safir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chivos's Lindo Trabucco got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Chivos had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
