Leonides Jaen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Iker Mincho when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Kang Feng sped through FF Forever's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Breno Brodel. Leonides Jaen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Iker Mincho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kang Feng in the 15th minute of play forced FF Forever's goalkeeper Breno Brodel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iker Mincho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonides Jaen in the 16th minute. Tymoteusz Gonsiewski hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Alvarado de Mar del Plata's zone, Ramiro Moise stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iker Mincho came out of the goal and Ramiro Moise tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20th minute Kang Feng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Breno Brodel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kang Feng in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Breno Brodel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Iker Mincho successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 30 minutes into the match, Benigno Jusepe notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Alvarado de Mar del Plata's Iker Mincho. Iker Mincho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Eustacio Ermano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Breno Brodel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kang Feng in the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kang Feng in the 39th minute of play forced FF Forever's goalkeeper Breno Brodel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iker Mincho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonides Jaen in the 41st minute. Breno Brodel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kang Feng in the 42nd minute of play. A collision led to Alvarado de Mar del Plata getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Rolando Hodei hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Alvarado de Mar del Plata's Daniel Ghițescu was substituted for Rolando Hodei. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonides Jaen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kang Feng received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Breno Brodel came out and tried to block the shot, but Kang Feng slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Alvarado de Mar del Plata's Daniel Ghițescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Breno Brodel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amador Lixandro during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Alvarado de Mar del Plata booed when FF Forever was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amador Lixandro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iker Mincho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Jaen, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Enzo Kante's late challenge caught a FF Forever's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enzo Kante helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th match minute, Alvarado de Mar del Plata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Kante to maneuver through the defense. Alvarado de Mar del Plata made a substitution. Modesto Isadore replaced Enzo Kante. Enzo Kante kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After some careless play in the FF Forever defense, Daniel Ghițescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Breno Brodel. The FF Forever fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Breno Brodel should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Daniel Ghițescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Breno Brodel was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see FF Forever lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
