Joaquín Lillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wei Fei Qi having to interfere. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind DeportivoIndependienteMDP's goalkeeper Wei Fei Qi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 20th play minute Dendi Ishutin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Wei Fei Qi. 1-0. Dendi Ishutin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th minute Dendi Ishutin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wei Fei Qi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Dendi Ishutin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wei Fei Qi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play.
