The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Racinguista F.C's Benjamin Salomon got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 8 minutes into the game, Froilan Leoiar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Higinio Porfiro. Froilan Leoiar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 12 played minutes Racinguista F.C got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Loreto. Higinio Porfiro came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Racinguista F.C's Arsenio Celino. But to his dismay, Arsenio Celino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Amadeo Berasko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Racinguista F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamin Salomon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Higinio Porfiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hernan Beltza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Higinio Porfiro made a huge save. If Hernan Beltza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When LA MAQUINA F.C's Rigoberto Turi in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The wind increased when Hernan Beltza made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Racinguista F.C's Arsenio Celino got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Racinguista F.C's Jozef Volders proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Racinguista F.C from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Beltza in the 54th minute of play forced LA MAQUINA F.C's goalkeeper Higinio Porfiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Higinio Porfiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Salomon in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute Eustacio Rosario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Porfiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Alberto Pernambucano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Jozef Volders made a huge save. Jozef Volders made an important save on a dangerous shot by Osvaldo Linhares in the 92nd minute. 95 minutes into the match, LA MAQUINA F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Beltza came free, but Higinio Porfiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Racinguista F.C fully deserved thier win.
