Amado Gamus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teofil Gierlach's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Crosmayo FC's Arnaldo Inocente was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 15th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After having played for 42 minutes, Muni Forró managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caricancha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Muni Forró was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Caricancha's goalkeeper Amado Gamus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnaldo Inocente.

Alonzo Cordarin made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Muni Forró sent off a good shot on target. Teofil Gierlach struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Amado Gamus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crosmayo FC. After 77 played minutes Caricancha got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Handi. After a defensive mix-up in Caricancha's zone, Michail Antonio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amado Gamus came out of the goal and Michail Antonio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teofil Gierlach in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amado Gamus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amado Gamus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofil Gierlach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Crosmayo FC's Alonzo Cordarin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Muni Forró in the 84th minute of play. Caricancha's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Astor Senio in the 85th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Astor Senio could shoot a difficult shot in the 93rd minute, which Alonzo Cordarin however easily saved by the left post. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Caricancha had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
