After 37 minutes of play, Crosmayo FC's Teofil Gierlach made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Federico Fe was left in no man's land by his defense there! 39 minutes into the match, Trapiche's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Inocente came free, but Federico Fe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Teofil Gierlach sped through Trapiche's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Federico Fe. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fredo Herzog during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
