The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Teodoro Honrio charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodoro Honrio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dario Hussain struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Dibag Martinez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leon Platense. Ahmet Sefer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Constantino Anaya got free with Dibag Martinez in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 34 in the game by Hernán Leandro from a close distance when the talented Dibag Martinez managed to make a qualified save. La Pantera Azulgrana's players were relieved. A collision led to Leon Platense getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Dario Hussain hit a great ball. In the 38th minute Ahmet Sefer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Rainerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfonso Kemen made in the 40th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Hernán Leandro immediately put the ball in play. La Pantera Azulgrana's Dibag Martinez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Hussain in the 46th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dario Hussain made a kick off. After 51 minutes of play, Leon Platense's Hernán Leandro made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dibag Martinez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hernán Leandro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dibag Martinez having to interfere. After 55 played minutes Leon Platense got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Honrio. Leon Platense made a substitution. Gonzalo Adrio replaced Teodoro Honrio. After a rather tough play, Leon Platense's Teodoro Honrio got a free kick in the 56th minute. Ahmet Sefer kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Ahmet Sefer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Ruperto Rainerio made a huge save. La Pantera Azulgrana's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mati Suárez in the 63rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Delmiro Heriberto got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ruperto Rainerio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gonzalo Adrio kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, La Pantera Azulgrana's Ahmet Sefer dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Ruperto Rainerio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Sefer's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Gonzalo Adrio hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Gonzalo Adrio made in the 84th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Hernán Leandro. 88 minutes into the match, Leon Platense's goalkeeper Ruperto Rainerio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Sefer. After a rather tough play, Leon Platense's Gonzalo Adrio got a free kick in the 90th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. La Pantera Azulgrana walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
