Francesco Toldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Palacio in the 12th minute of the match. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Francesco Toldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Resurrección Diabólica Ψ from getting a goal against them. Francesco Toldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvestre Cisco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Francesco Toldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Cisco in the 16th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Frontera AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Tono came free, but Agustín Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Usain Lucifer hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the match, Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's goalkeeper Francesco Toldo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Naohiro Takahara. Agustín Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Sustrai in the 37th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silvestre Cisco made a kick off. Agustín Rossi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gaston Mendebal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 65 minute of play. Frontera AFC's Domingos Evangelista was substituted for Cristian Medina. Frontera AFC's Mariano Bitxintxo was substituted for Celso Betadur. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Mando Lucifer was substituted for Severo Tono. Pedro Guzman kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Usain Lucifer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Cisco in the 84th minute of play forced Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's goalkeeper Francesco Toldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mando Lucifer managed to, on his own, get straight through Frontera AFC's defense and in the 89th minute placed the ball to the left of Agustín Rossi. 1-2. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
