After a defensive mix-up in Showtime FC's zone, Benedito Fiúza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Hori came out of the goal and Benedito Fiúza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicolas Merexildo kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Simon Hori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedito Fiúza in the 15th minute of play. Simon Hori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Percy Medeiros in the 20th minute of the match. Agustin Orion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Todor, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Narciso Mero came free with the goalkeeper in the 27th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Agustin Orion could save by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Narciso Mero got free with Agustin Orion in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Percy Medeiros made a kick off.
