Arnoldo Montrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Iruinea having to interfere. Mauro Iruinea was a little too slow when Felipe Inocente got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-0. Mauro Iruinea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Inocente, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Leopoldo Luque took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeronimo Dantel. Jeronimo Dantel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Jeronimo Dantel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Urtats in the 20th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, DirectorVisual.com's Leopoldo Luque nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jeronimo Dantel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Jeronimo Dantel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Luque in the 24th minute of play. DirectorVisual.com's Mauro Iruinea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Inocente in the 27th minute of play. Mauro Iruinea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Inocente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute Federico Urtats shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Dantel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. DirectorVisual.com were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Valencia Santa Fe's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dalmacio Seguinus took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Dalmacio Seguinus got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jeronimo Dantel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Matías Kranevitter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeronimo Dantel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In the 43rd minute of the match, Arnoldo Montrell tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mauro Iruinea saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 46th minute, Herbert Lewkowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnoldo Montrell to make the kick off. 63 minutes into the match, DirectorVisual.com's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Inocente came free, but Mauro Iruinea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute Ernst Murumaa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Iruinea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Federico Urtats's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeronimo Dantel was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. 68 minutes into the game, Valencia Santa Fe's Felipe Inocente nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mauro Iruinea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Valencia Santa Fe's zone, Leopoldo Luque stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeronimo Dantel came out of the goal and Leopoldo Luque tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valencia Santa Fe's Gonzalo Guedes was substituted for Roque Arias. The supporters of Valencia Santa Fe booed when DirectorVisual.com was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milton Casco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
