The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fabian Benvido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Pangsepp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Social y Dep. Patagonia's Tobias Faro got control of the ball when Parker Nuñez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Momentum FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Agustin Figueroa in the 7th minute. Parker Nuñez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tobias Faro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Social y Dep. Patagonia's Tobias Faro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Social y Dep. Patagonia from getting a goal against them. 0-1 became the score in the 15th minute when Leo Pangsepp elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Tobias Faro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Baumer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute, Ignacio Baumer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Social y Dep. Patagonia's Arnaldo Bastia got a free kick in the 37th minute. After some careless play in the Social y Dep. Patagonia defense, Parker Nuñez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tobias Faro. The Social y Dep. Patagonia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tobias Faro should have stopped the shot. Fabian Benvido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Pangsepp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabian Benvido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Pangsepp in the 44th minute of play. Momentum FC's Fabian Benvido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Bastia in the 45th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ignacio Baumer was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Leo Pangsepp kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fabian Benvido. That made the score 3-2 in the 56 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Pangsepp in the 64th minute of play forced Momentum FC's goalkeeper Fabian Benvido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobias Faro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Parker Nuñez, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leo Pangsepp got free with Fabian Benvido in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Momentum FC made a substitution. Rando Raudsoo replaced Parker Nuñez. Momentum FC's Nico Fanta was substituted for Ignacio Baumer. Momentum FC made a substitution. Dalmacio Lugo replaced Marcelo Pello. In the 70th minute of the match Social y Dep. Patagonia got a corner. Momentum FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lázaro Gau ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fabian Benvido was a little too slow when Arnaldo Bastia got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 3-4. The Momentum FC fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Momentum FC's Rando Raudsoo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Social y Dep. Patagonia's Tobias Faro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rando Raudsoo in the 84th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Momentum FC's goalkeeper Fabian Benvido had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severo Laurgain. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by Momentum FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lázaro Gau was slow to take the kick. During this time Social y Dep. Patagonia's players had a chance to rest. In the 94th minute Rando Raudsoo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Faro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Severo Laurgain made a precise shot to the right of Fabian Benvido. Momentum FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-5. The Momentum FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Social y Dep. Patagonia were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
