Manotham Grandessa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lobo Lobo, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. With a little luck, Juventud Antoniana's Celso Demario got control of the ball when André Luís Zanette tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even Flores hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Trayan Davchev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th minute André Luís Zanette shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Demario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Paulo Teles in the 93rd minute of play forced Juventud Antoniana's goalkeeper Celso Demario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celso Demario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Văcărescu in the 96th minute of play. Chaco For Ever's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
