The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pablo Lohitzun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Aldo Gorosti hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Márcio Lago in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rosendo Eufrasio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 25 minutes into the match, Expresso Ranelagh's goal looked a bit too open when Alvise Biancone came free, but Pablo Lohitzun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hipolito Mannie kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Expresso Ranelagh's Pablo Lohitzun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Santos in the 34th minute of play. After some careless play in the Alvoha FC defense, Márcio Lago kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rosendo Eufrasio. The Alvoha FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rosendo Eufrasio should have stopped the shot. In the 39th minute Christian Chaime shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Lohitzun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Alvoha FC's Albino Damario got a free kick in the 40th minute. After 42 played minutes Alvoha FC got a freekick which was hit by Filiberto Fernandez. After having played for 43 minutes, Márcio Lago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Expresso Ranelagh's supporters crossed their fingers, but Márcio Lago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pablo Lohitzun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cem Yılğıralp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the game, Márcio Lago recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rosendo Eufrasio. Márcio Lago showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Epifanio Beremundo was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Expresso Ranelagh's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Chaime came free, but Pablo Lohitzun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute Márcio Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Eufrasio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61stth minute of the game Christian Chaime who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Expresso Ranelagh's Pablo Lohitzun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodrigo Santos in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pablo Lohitzun saved Expresso Ranelagh from getting behind. Márcio Lago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hipolito Mannie kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Expresso Ranelagh made a substitution. Arif Tugay Alkın replaced Márcio Lago. Alvoha FC's Ladislao Aragones was substituted for Epifanio Beremundo. Expresso Ranelagh's Zacarias Umea was substituted for Honorato Chap. The supporters of Alvoha FC booed when Expresso Ranelagh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hipolito Mannie didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Alvoha FC's Christian Chaime broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Rosendo Eufrasio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svetoslav Vardarov in the 70th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Svetoslav Vardarov in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rosendo Eufrasio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rosendo Eufrasio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arif Tugay Alkın's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Pablo Lohitzun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Aragones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the match, Expresso Ranelagh's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Aragones came free, but Pablo Lohitzun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Expresso Ranelagh fans cheered their team off the field, for while Alvoha FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
