The supporters of Quitilipi booed when Laurita FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Šair Lupin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saul Suarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Šair Lupin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saul Suarez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Šair Lupin in the 29th minute of the match. Arnulfo Kinsen made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Cayetano Bazkoare sent off a good shot on target. Beso Negro charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Beso Negro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Saul Suarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Šair Lupin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laurita FC were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Quitilipi's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Csaba Szénási took the corner. Šair Lupin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Saul Suarez having to make a save. 43 minutes into the game, Fabian Manni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Laurita FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quitilipi the free kick. After 45 minutes, Bernardino Ofelio made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Quitilipi's Saul Suarez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Aureliano Poncio hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Šair Lupin made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardino Ofelio in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saul Suarez saved Quitilipi from getting behind. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Quitilipi's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Csaba Szénási was slow to take the kick. During this time Laurita FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Csaba Szénási got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Saul Suarez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Šair Lupin in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saul Suarez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Šair Lupin got free with Saul Suarez in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Šair Lupin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Suarez having to interfere. Šair Lupin was extremely unlucky when he, in the 61st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Du Zheng Rong could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Saul Suarez made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Mario Alberto Kempes put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Saul Suarez. Laurita FC's Beso Negro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Saul Suarez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Arnulfo Kinsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cayetano Bazkoare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quitilipi's Saul Suarez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Alberto Kempes in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st match minute, Quitilipi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aureliano Poncio to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Quitilipi's zone, Mario Alberto Kempes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saul Suarez came out of the goal and Mario Alberto Kempes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saul Suarez didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 90th minute, which inside left pole to 0-6. The Laurita FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Laurita FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
