Los Gallos's Anacleto Horado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Bazkoare in the 12th minute of play. Fernando Polo made in the 13th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Quitilipi's Justo Mambru. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Bazkoare in the 15th minute of play forced Los Gallos's goalkeeper Anacleto Horado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Quitilipi's Saul Suarez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Quitilipi from getting a goal against them. With his leg Saul Suarez managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Los Gallos's Vladimiro Jerold fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Inocencio Lartaun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vladimiro Jerold to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Quitilipi's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimiro Jerold came free, but Saul Suarez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Los Gallos's Ulisses Miranda to fire away a dangerous shot which Saul Suarez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 58th minute Evelio Manzanedo collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arí Lucas during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Los Gallos made a substitution. Edu Linares replaced Evelio Manzanedo. The supporters of Los Gallos booed when Quitilipi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saul Suarez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimiro Jerold in the 81st minute of the match. Alf Siöman kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Vladimiro Jerold sped through Quitilipi's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Saul Suarez. Los Gallos's attentive Fernando Polo managed to snatch the ball when Alf Siöman made a throw-in in the 89th minute of the game. Los Gallos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ulisses Miranda in the 94th minute. The Los Gallos players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
