Sandungueo's Emiliano Polito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dedê Moreno in the 17th minute of play. 22 minutes in the game Santiago Rayman did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Natã Motta. With a little luck, Charmander City's Feliks Dec got control of the ball when Astor Poz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dedê Moreno in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emiliano Polito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Sandungueo's Honorio Eguen got a free kick in the 35th minute. Jairo Gaufred struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Emiliano Polito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Charmander City. In the 40th minute Delmiro Peto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Polito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santiago Rayman made in the 44th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Charmander City's Carlos Izquierdoz. In the 47th match minute, Charmander City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clodoveo Txeru to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Delmiro Peto to strike the kick off in the second half. Hernan Cidro lost his temper 52 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 52nd minute, one of Sandungueo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sandungueo. In the 66th minute of the match, Dedê Moreno got a very nice opportunity to score, but Emiliano Polito was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Charmander City's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jairo Gaufred in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute Luigi Doublet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliks Dec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jose Arlo got free with Emiliano Polito in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emiliano Polito made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Jose Arlo sent off a good shot on target. Jose Arlo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emiliano Polito having to make a save.
