Emiliano Polito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthias Vall in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25th match minute, Sandungueo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luigi Doublet to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Benedicto Fagondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enrique Theobald took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emiliano Polito. Sandungueo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Acratas Unidos booed when Sandungueo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santiago Rayman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Sandungueo's Elias Sugoi got a free kick in the 46th minute. Emiliano Polito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthias Vall, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matthias Vall to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Enrique Theobald recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Emiliano Polito. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlitos Parodi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natã Motta in the 77th minute of play. In the 83rd minute Erasmo Gregory shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Polito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Erasmo Gregory cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Emiliano Polito was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sandungueo made a substitution. Gualterio Errando replaced Natã Motta. Sandungueo made a substitution. Fausto Rutenio replaced Hernan Cidro. When the match was over Acratas Unidos could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sandungueo throughout the match.
