The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Leopoldo Ladio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Natalio Etxekopar fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LiBeRiA F.C.'s protests and gave Natalio Etxekopar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th match minute, LiBeRiA F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natalio Etxekopar to maneuver through the defense. Perrando Martínez Lamas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Emmanuel in the 6th minute of the match. Hydra's Orlando Chepe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mei Zhi Jian in the 7th minute of play. LiBeRiA F.C.'s Perrando Martínez Lamas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save LiBeRiA F.C. from getting a goal against them. Mario Emmanuel came free with the goalkeeper in the 12th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Perrando Martínez Lamas could save by the left post. Mei Zhi Jian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Chepe having to interfere. Perrando Martínez Lamas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Ladio in the 17th minute of the match. Leopoldo Ladio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Perrando Martínez Lamas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 21st minute Mario Alberto Millar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perrando Martínez Lamas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Hydra defense, Mei Zhi Jian kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Orlando Chepe. The Hydra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Orlando Chepe should have stopped the shot. In the 31st minute Ruben Reyes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perrando Martínez Lamas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hydra's Orlando Chepe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mei Zhi Jian in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute of the match LiBeRiA F.C. got a corner. Hydra's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mei Zhi Jian ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 38th minute Alonzo Bihar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Chepe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, LiBeRiA F.C.'s Perrando Martínez Lamas got control of the ball when Mario Emmanuel tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 46th match minute, Hydra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jannis Van de Loock to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mario Emmanuel to make the kick off. Perrando Martínez Lamas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mario Emmanuel's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute Leopoldo Ladio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perrando Martínez Lamas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Hydra's Leopoldo Ladio got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Perrando Martínez Lamas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Ladio in the 64th minute of play. After 65 played minutes Hydra got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Reyes. Hydra made a substitution. Camilo Caradaro replaced Ruben Reyes. Hydra's Laurin Roca was substituted for Leopoldo Ladio. The supporters of LiBeRiA F.C. booed when Hydra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruben Reyes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laurin Roca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Perrando Martínez Lamas having to make a save. Perrando Martínez Lamas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Emmanuel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Delmar Kismi's late challenge caught a LiBeRiA F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Delmar Kismi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st match minute, Hydra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmar Kismi to maneuver through the defense. Mei Zhi Jian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th match minute, Hydra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kris Longden to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. LiBeRiA F.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
