In the 17th minute, Michaël Myers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leo Henric made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niclas Füllkrug in the 22nd minute. Leo Henric was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Niclas Füllkrug capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Niclas Füllkrug really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. A collision led to Azulgranas AFC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Higinio Berenguer hit a great ball. Tom Hermanssons short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Leo Henric to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Tom Hermansson came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the AZURDUY F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tom Hermansson couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Azulgranas AFC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Higinio Berenguer hit a great ball. A hard shot by Károly Bogdán from long distance, 33 minutes into the match, got Leo Henric's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Tom Hermansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tom Hermansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Leo Henric tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Higinio Berenguer charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Higinio Berenguer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. AZURDUY F.C. made a substitution. Tomás Urtun replaced Károly Bogdán. Leo Henric acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 49th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fred Åkerström. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

AZURDUY F.C.'s Teodosio Iigo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save AZURDUY F.C. from getting a goal against them. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Juan Manuel Cruz sped through AZURDUY F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Teodosio Iigo. Tom Hermansson took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leo Henric. Leo Henric dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niclas Füllkrug in the 70th minute of play forced Azulgranas AFC's goalkeeper Leo Henric to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tom Hermansson in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leo Henric saved Azulgranas AFC from getting behind. AZURDUY F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fred Åkerström in the 77th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Niclas Füllkrug heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After a defensive mix-up in AZURDUY F.C.'s zone, Michaël Myers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodosio Iigo came out of the goal and Michaël Myers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 81 minutes into the match, Azulgranas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Tom Hermansson came free, but Leo Henric reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Azulgranas AFC's Leo Henric played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niclas Füllkrug in the 84th minute of play.
