After 32 minutes Santos de Buenos Aires FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Raul Quinteros who took care of the corner kick. Feliciano Ayala made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Yağızhan Korgan sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Danilo Seber's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Apolo Erroman was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. La Vieja Guarida FC's Apolo Erroman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcin Hodyl in the 36th minute of play. Apolo Erroman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcin Hodyl, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The supporters of Santos de Buenos Aires FC booed when La Vieja Guarida FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliksas Obrikis didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Danilo Seber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcin Hodyl to make the kick off. Marcin Hodyl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Apolo Erroman made a huge save. In the 54th minute, Marcin Hodyl left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santos de Buenos Aires FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Feliciano Ayala stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yağızhan Korgan's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Tiburcio Lluques hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Santos de Buenos Aires FC's Danilo Seber got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Apolo Erroman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Seber in the 74th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Danilo Seber had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Apolo Erroman. La Vieja Guarida FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Danilo Seber was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. La Vieja Guarida FC made a substitution. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Seber in the 81st minute of play forced La Vieja Guarida FC's goalkeeper Apolo Erroman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Yağızhan Korgan notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Santos de Buenos Aires FC's Feliciano Ayala.
