Thanks to some nice moves Mustafa Hakan Şükür could shoot a difficult shot in the 13th minute, which Bedrettin Münir however easily saved by the left post. Edmondo Melani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Seferihisar İdman Gücü's Bedrettin Münir proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Seferihisar İdman Gücü from getting a goal against them. Cosmin Cluceru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Bedrettin Münir made a huge save. Chet Baker came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bedrettin Münir could save by the left post. Cláudio-André Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmondo Melani in the 29th minute of play. If Mustafa Hakan Şükür had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 41 minutes into the match, TR - UYANIŞ KIZILELMA -'s goal looked a bit too open when Zhang Xun came free, but Cláudio-André Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Matos's late challenge caught a TR - UYANIŞ KIZILELMA -'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Matos helped the player get up and apologised. Lütfi Erkılıç blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bedrettin Münir having to make a save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
