Aşkın Özgunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruninho Fernandes in the 19th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robustiano Giro got free with Aşkın Özgunes in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Robustiano Giro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Aşkın Özgunes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robustiano Giro in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aşkın Özgunes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Aşkın Özgunes managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when A T A B E Y - Fener45's Robustiano Giro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Soulfly F.C.'s Aşkın Özgunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robustiano Giro in the 27th minute of play. In the 31st minute of the match, Demirhan Afgan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aşkın Özgunes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 32nd minute, Abdurrezzak Türev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A T A B E Y - Fener45's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Balaban Mirkelam was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Robustiano Giro in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aşkın Özgunes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 43 played minutes Soulfly F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Herve de Neuyter. Emiliano Orlandi hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After having played for 47 minutes, Balaban Mirkelam managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soulfly F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Balaban Mirkelam was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bruninho Fernandes to make the kick off. A T A B E Y - Fener45's Eser Ulutaş tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Aşkın Özgunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robustiano Giro in the 89th minute of play. The supporters of A T A B E Y - Fener45 booed when Soulfly F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Balaban Mirkelam didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the match, A T A B E Y - Fener45's goal looked a bit too open when Thierry Auroy came free, but Eser Ulutaş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Soulfly F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
