The audience thought a goal was coming when Jim Lyons got free with İdris Uzer in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Albano Unzueta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tuncay Trabzonlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albano Unzueta came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by YILDIRIM's Tuncay Trabzonlu. But to his dismay, Tuncay Trabzonlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tuncay Trabzonlu in the 41st minute of play forced AC Cazzo's goalkeeper Albano Unzueta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 44 played minutes AC Cazzo got a freekick which was hit by Abdi Mehmet İksir. When İrfan Öztürk fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Cazzo's protests and gave İrfan Öztürk a yellow card for diving instead. YILDIRIM made a substitution. Mürsel Özaydın replaced Leonel Messi. İrfan Öztürk hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After 48 played minutes, YILDIRIM's Tuncay Trabzonlu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Albano Unzueta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in YILDIRIM reached it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The supporters of YILDIRIM booed when AC Cazzo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimír Brodský didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jim Lyons took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised İdris Uzer. İdris Uzer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. YILDIRIM's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
