In the 7th minute İlhami Akkurt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gianluigi Donnarumma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of AdanaSpor 2010 booed when H E P T A N was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kıraç Ergüden didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in H E P T A N's zone, Recep Čalić stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orhan Seyfi Üstün came out of the goal and Recep Čalić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, H E P T A N's Ahmet Ziya Bilginer got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Orhan Seyfi Üstün made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Recep Čalić in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabin Bugariu in the 43rd minute of play forced H E P T A N's goalkeeper Orhan Seyfi Üstün to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Sabin Bugariu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind H E P T A N's goalkeeper Orhan Seyfi Üstün, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner was taken by Eray Çetinoz in the 62nd minute. After having played for 64 minutes, Ahmet Ziya Bilginer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. H E P T A N's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Ziya Bilginer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. H E P T A N's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Sabin Bugariu scored to the left of an out of position Orhan Seyfi Üstün, making the score, 1-3. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind H E P T A N's goalkeeper Orhan Seyfi Üstün, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
