FC aDeX's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Tiberiu Caramarin scored to the left of an out of position Matei Oltean, making the score, 1-0. Nicodim Orășan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Matei Oltean made a huge save. In the 8thth minute of the game Martin Rana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MIT's Calistrat Madgearu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Martin Rana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Calistrat Madgearu was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiberiu Caramarin in the 10th minute of play forced FC aDeX's goalkeeper Matei Oltean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, FC aDeX's goal looked a bit too open when Tiberiu Caramarin came free, but Matei Oltean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Calistrat Madgearu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristinel Chinezu's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Martin Rana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Calistrat Madgearu. MIT's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martin Rana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Calistrat Madgearu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Rana in the 40th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dorin Banu during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, MIT's Dorin Banu got a free kick in the 41st minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 46 minutes into the game, when Romeo Gherghescu put in a rough tackle. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for MIT! Franck Tkint walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. FC aDeX's Kubilay Gündeş was substituted for Giorgos Neymar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tiberiu Caramarin to make the kick off. Calistrat Madgearu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Rana in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Tiberiu Caramarin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matei Oltean was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. The corner led FC aDeX's Martin Rana to fire away a dangerous shot which Calistrat Madgearu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Matei Oltean didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tiberiu Caramarin went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. If Tiberiu Caramarin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MIT made a substitution. Bogdan Bucataru replaced Alex Balotă. In the 94thth minute of the game Kubilay Gündeş who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MIT's Calistrat Madgearu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC aDeX's Matei Oltean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinu Grigoroiu in the 96th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiberiu Caramarin in the 99th minute of play forced FC aDeX's goalkeeper Matei Oltean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristinel Chinezu during the 99th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cristinel Chinezu kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The MIT fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC aDeX had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
