Spectators: 188 (Terracing: 142, Seating: 43, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Valer Uduleanu started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, MIT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorin Banu to maneuver through the defense. Nicodim Orășan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Dino Zoff made a huge save. Dino Zoff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiberiu Caramarin in the 8th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Cormoranii -MM-'s goalkeeper Dino Zoff had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicodim Orășan. Dino Zoff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiberiu Caramarin in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute Tiberiu Caramarin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Zoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicodim Orășan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, Tiberiu Caramarin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dino Zoff. Cormoranii -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tiberiu Caramarin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. MIT's Calistrat Madgearu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vintilă Hălmăgeanu in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th minute Nicodim Orășan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Zoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, MIT's Dino Zoff threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tiberiu Caramarin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 31st match minute, Cormoranii -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Ologu to maneuver through the defense. MIT's Bogdan Bucataru shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 32nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Dino Zoff but with some difficulty. Dino Zoff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicodim Orășan in the 36th minute of play. Dino Zoff made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicodim Orășan in the 38th minute. Calistrat Madgearu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugen Boldur, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Tiberiu Caramarin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dino Zoff. Cormoranii -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tiberiu Caramarin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 46th minute, MIT's Radu Sărăroiu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Radu Sărăroiu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of MIT protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Radu Sărăroiu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in MIT fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! Calistrat Madgearu had in the 48thth minute some difficulties stopping Marcel Vulpe's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tiberiu Caramarin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vintilă Hălmăgeanu during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of MIT booed when Cormoranii -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vintilă Hălmăgeanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vintilă Hălmăgeanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Calistrat Madgearu made a huge save. A collision led to MIT getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Dorin Banu hit a great ball. MIT's David Tunander was substituted for Dorin Banu. Dorin Banu kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. MIT's Mihăiţă Ilarie was substituted for Aurel Buzea. The crowd rose to their feet as Cormoranii -MM-'s Eugen Boldur slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Calistrat Madgearu. That made the score 2-2 after 82 minutes of play. In the 86th minute Tiberiu Caramarin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Zoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 87 minutes of play, MIT's David Tunander made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dino Zoff was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 90th minute, David Tunander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MIT fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. In the 94th minute David Tunander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Zoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
