The audience thought a goal was coming when Eric Păvăloae got free with Radu Barbălată in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Eric Păvăloae kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Radu Barbălată. That made the score 1-2 in the 25 minute of play. Emil Gabor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marin Dică in the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Eric Păvăloae sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Radu Barbălată narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 35 minutes, Manole Miulescu made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Ninjas in Pyjamas's Emil Gabor tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 38 minutes into the match, Ninjas in Pyjamas's goal looked a bit too open when Péter Bánhegyi came free, but Emil Gabor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emil Gabor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marin Dică, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Alexandria Team08's zone, Eric Păvăloae stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radu Barbălată came out of the goal and Eric Păvăloae tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emil Gabor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Péter Bánhegyi in the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Alexandria Team08's Mma Clan was substituted for Manole Miulescu. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eric Păvăloae was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Alexandria Team08's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Păvăloae came free, but Radu Barbălată reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alexandria Team08's goalkeeper Radu Barbălată, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Albano Sergi struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Emil Gabor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alexandria Team08. Alexandria Team08's Marin Dică got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Alexandria Team08's Marin Dică in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ninjas in Pyjamas's supporters rose to their feet, but Eric Păvăloae was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radu Barbălată breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Ştefan Istrăteanu fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ninjas in Pyjamas's protests and gave Ştefan Istrăteanu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 97th minute, Ştefan Istrăteanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marin Dică sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Ninjas in Pyjamas fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Alexandria Team08 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
