In the 4th match minute, The Huns was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xu Xun Jian to maneuver through the defense. The Huns's Vintilă Murgu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save The Huns from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves Aurelian Odobescu could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Vintilă Murgu however easily saved by the left post. 22 minutes into the match, The Huns's goalkeeper Vintilă Murgu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aurelian Odobescu. The supporters of The Huns booed when FC PIETROSUL -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelian Odobescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronan McCunn's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Niculae Rădvan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, The Huns's goal looked a bit too open when Viorel Iacobescu came free, but Vintilă Murgu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute of the match FC PIETROSUL -MM- got a corner. The Huns's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aurelian Odobescu ran over to the corner to take the kick. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Aurelian Odobescu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vintilă Murgu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 35th minute Ronan McCunn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niculae Rădvan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niculae Rădvan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Ghionea, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Ronan McCunn kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s zone, Ronan McCunn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niculae Rădvan came out of the goal and Ronan McCunn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Niculae Rădvan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronan McCunn in the 66th minute of the match. FC PIETROSUL -MM- made a substitution. Cristi Ciprian replaced Viorel Iacobescu. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nicholas Ramachandran was slow to take the kick. During this time The Huns's players had a chance to rest. The corner led The Huns's George Ghionea to fire away a dangerous shot which Niculae Rădvan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Aurelian Odobescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Ronan McCunn took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Niculae Rădvan to make any attempt to save it. Ronan McCunn's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Niculae Rădvan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. The Huns's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nicholas Ramachandran in the 80th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goalie and right to Xu Xun Jian. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Vintilă Murgu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurel Teodoroiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sandu Porumbescu kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronan McCunn got free with Niculae Rădvan in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 95 played minutes The Huns got a freekick which was hit by Nicholas Ramachandran. The Huns's Vintilă Murgu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristi Ciprian in the 97th minute of play. Răzvan Gorjanu kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The Huns's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
