Astor Haimar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Codruț Hanganu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurel Teodoroiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Aurel Teodoroiu fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sever Crăiniceanu got free with Codruț Hanganu in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Niculae Rădvan came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s He Gang Jian. But to his dismay, He Gang Jian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Codruț Hanganu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viorel Iacobescu's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 26th match minute, FC PIETROSUL -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viorel Iacobescu to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s Carlos Berbiz got a free kick in the 31st minute. 34 minutes into the game, Gonzalo Basualdo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC PIETROSUL -MM- the free kick. After 34 played minutes White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Basualdo. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Mugurel Nediu managed to get in a good position for a shot. White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Mugurel Nediu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niculae Rădvan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 44 minutes into the match, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when George Deac came free, but Niculae Rădvan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aurelian Odobescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Niculae Rădvan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mugurel Nediu in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

FC PIETROSUL -MM- made a substitution. Costin Pupăzan replaced Filip Braia. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viorel Iacobescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Niculae Rădvan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Haimar in the 52nd minute of play. Codruț Hanganu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viorel Iacobescu in the 53rd minute of play. Codruț Hanganu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viorel Iacobescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 61 minutes into the match, White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s Diego Sánchez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Niculae Rădvan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 79th minute Astor Haimar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niculae Rădvan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goalkeeper Niculae Rădvan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Astor Haimar.
