Baldomiro Txindoki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Qian Chao Tian in the 35th minute of play forced FC Ruscova's goalkeeper Dominik Kosakowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baldomiro Txindoki made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Zachary Snaza sent off a good shot on target. Dominik Kosakowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orçun Yalınalp in the 40th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Cortez in the 42nd minute of play forced FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goalkeeper Baldomiro Txindoki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dominik Kosakowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orçun Yalınalp in the 44th minute of play. Qian Chao Tian kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After 48 minutes, Paul Au mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Ruscova and the FC UNIREA Alba Iulia players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ciro Cortez to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Dominik Kosakowski managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Orçun Yalınalp fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 75th match minute, FC Ruscova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Umur Renan to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Cortez in the 79th minute of play forced FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goalkeeper Baldomiro Txindoki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurel Trifan charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aurel Trifan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th match minute, FC Ruscova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurel Trifan to maneuver through the defense. Baldomiro Txindoki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from René Orságh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
