But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dorin Lovin couldn't finish the play. After 6 played minutes Minerul Baita -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Rareș Comișel. In the 7th minute of the match Ni Song Bing shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nistor Maghiar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Minerul Baita -MM- getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Albino Claude hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudiu Şerbănoiu in the 11th minute of play forced Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalkeeper Nistor Maghiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalkeeper Nistor Maghiar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mihăiţă Vergulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, -BZF- Ursus Magura's goal looked a bit too open when Octav Albescu came free, but Espen Lyngsby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nistor Maghiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvin Tinglöv in the 25th minute of the match. A collision led to Minerul Baita -MM- getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Ciprian Alexe hit a great ball. In the 27thth minute of the game Dudu Georgescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but -BZF- Ursus Magura's Espen Lyngsby was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Dudu Georgescu got free in front of the goal in the 30th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Espen Lyngsby was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. With a little luck, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Nistor Maghiar got control of the ball when Claudiu Şerbănoiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nistor Maghiar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dorin Lovin in the 36th minute. In the 39thth minute of the game Dudu Georgescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but -BZF- Ursus Magura's Espen Lyngsby was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 44th minute Ciprian Alexe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Espen Lyngsby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudiu Şerbănoius short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Nistor Maghiar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After the first half Minerul Baita -MM- were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dudu Georgescu made a kick off. Nistor Maghiar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudiu Şerbănoiu's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. 56 minutes into the match, -BZF- Ursus Magura's goal looked a bit too open when Niculae Şantău came free, but Espen Lyngsby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albino Claude during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some careless play in the Minerul Baita -MM- defense, Mihăiţă Vergulescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nistor Maghiar. The Minerul Baita -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nistor Maghiar should have stopped the shot. 77 minutes into the match, -BZF- Ursus Magura's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Shearer came free, but Espen Lyngsby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th match minute, -BZF- Ursus Magura was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duddu Georgescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute, Nicolas Whitmore got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Minerul Baita -MM-'s zone, Mihăiţă Vergulescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nistor Maghiar came out of the goal and Mihăiţă Vergulescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Ursus Magura's Claudiu Şerbănoiu got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes into the match, Ciprian Alexe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Espen Lyngsby. -BZF- Ursus Magura's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciprian Alexe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. The -BZF- Ursus Magura supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Minerul Baita -MM-'s performance. The match ended with a win for Minerul Baita -MM-.
