Spectators: 165 (Terracing: 124, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) F.C. YKE's Rodri Gol started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sorin Bobocea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodri Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Ferdinand Costa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Felix Leahu made a huge save. Sorin Bobocea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Traian Brăiloiu in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Twan van Nistelrooij in the 13th minute of play forced Balavanis's goalkeeper Sorin Bobocea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, Valeriu Robescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the match, Balavanis's goal looked a bit too open when Rodri Gol came free, but Sorin Bobocea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Rodri Gol sped through Balavanis's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sorin Bobocea. In the 21st minute Alf Tanner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Leahu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grigore Şoiman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Leahu having to interfere. In the 31st minute Traian Brăiloiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sorin Bobocea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Leahu made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Grigore Şoiman sent off a good shot on target. Sorin Bobocea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Twan van Nistelrooij in the 39th minute of play. Felix Leahu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alf Tanner, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Alf Tanner kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 47thth minute. Though ot was a great shot F.C. YKE's keeper Felix Leahu was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alf Tanner to make the kick off. Sorin Bobocea was a little too slow when Rodri Gol got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 69th minute, Ionică Cucu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samet Ağar might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sorin Bobocea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Samet Ağar ran back to his position shaking his head. 72 minutes into the match, Balavanis's goal looked a bit too open when Samet Ağar came free, but Sorin Bobocea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferdinand Costa struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Felix Leahu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balavanis. Balavanis made a substitution. Gheorghe Basarab replaced Ferdinand Costa. In the 81st minute Alf Tanner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Leahu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Balavanis's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ionică Cucu in the 82nd minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Gheorghe Basarab heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Samet Ağar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Samet Ağar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sorin Bobocea. That made the score 1-3 in the 93 minute of play. F.C. YKE's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
