Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s attentive Ursus Martin managed to snatch the ball when Avram Barascu made a throw-in in the 4th minute of the game. If Grigore Şoiman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute Alf Tanner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Panait Hațegan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mădălin Cangeopol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sorin Bobocea having to make a save. Sorin Bobocea made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Mădălin Cangeopol sent off a good shot on target. In the 25th match minute, Balavanis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Flamini to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute Mădălin Cangeopol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sorin Bobocea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sorin Bobocea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mădălin Cangeopol went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 35 minutes into the match, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Grigore Şoiman came free, but Panait Hațegan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Federico Flamini made in the 36th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Avram Barascu immediately put the ball in play. Sorin Bobocea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mădălin Cangeopol in the 39th minute. Balavanis's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Mădălin Cangeopol scored to the left of an out of position Sorin Bobocea, making the score, 4-0. In the 47th minute Alf Tanner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Panait Hațegan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adrian Mutu to make the kick off. Sorin Bobocea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mădălin Cangeopol's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Sorin Bobocea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mădălin Cangeopol in the 57th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goalkeeper Panait Hațegan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferdinand Costa. In the 64thth minute of the game Mădălin Cangeopol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Balavanis's Sorin Bobocea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mădălin Cangeopol in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sorin Bobocea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 70th minute, Mădălin Cangeopol ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sorin Bobocea was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Balavanis made a substitution. Gheorghe Basarab replaced Ferdinand Costa. If Grigore Şoiman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Tractorul Satulung -MM- getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Marlon Brando hit a great ball. With a little luck, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Panait Hațegan got control of the ball when Grigore Şoiman tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Balavanis's Grigore Şoiman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Panait Hațegan. That made the score 5-1 after 80 minutes of play. Panait Hațegan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Grigore Şoiman in the 83rd minute. Balavanis's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ionică Cucu in the 84th minute. The audience was convinced that Adrian Mutu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sorin Bobocea was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Adrian Mutu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Marlon Brando managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Shkëlzen Ibrahimi in the 94 minute of the game. Ursus Martin hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Tractorul Satulung -MM- were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Balavanis for a fine match.
