The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Samet Mert came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samet Mert couldn't finish the play. Sebastian Bungeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sever Patriciu in the 9th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Samet Mert slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roch Cieslak. That made the score 2-0 after 13 minutes of play. F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Samet Mert got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of FC Luck booed when F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augustin Albu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emilijano Kozapalidis hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Tudor Sântimbrean could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Roch Cieslak made a huge save. In the 21st minute, F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Tudor Sântimbrean dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. If Tudor Sântimbrean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sebastian Bungeanu came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Luck's Narcis Voinescu. But to his dismay, Narcis Voinescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Roch Cieslak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tudor Sântimbrean in the 28th minute. With a little luck, FC Luck's Roch Cieslak got control of the ball when Tudor Sântimbrean tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristi Rareș made in the 42nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Narcis Voinescu immediately put the ball in play. Tudor Sântimbrean scored 5-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roch Cieslak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sever Patriciu to strike the kick off in the second half. Tadeusz Redisz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 61 minutes in the game Narcis Voinescu did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Cristi Rareș. Roch Cieslak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tudor Sântimbrean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tudor Sântimbrean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-. FC Luck's David Chiru managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Marius Stolnicu in the 87 minute of the game. 89 minutes into the game, Tudor Sântimbrean cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. Roch Cieslak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- had won after a very even match.
