The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Irinel Tatomir in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yanick Knecht saved LIVIUS UNITED MLS from getting behind. ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after LIVIUS UNITED MLS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eugen Mihălțan took the corner. The corner led ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Eugen Mihălțan to fire away a dangerous shot which Yanick Knecht despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Yanick Knecht was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Lucrețiu Ghimiș capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lucrețiu Ghimiș really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Yanick Knecht had great luck who in the 25thth minute grab hold of the ball when Irinel Tatomir from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. LIVIUS UNITED MLS's Yanick Knecht played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Irinel Tatomir in the 27th minute of play. In the 35th minute of the match ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 got a corner. LIVIUS UNITED MLS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eugen Mihălțan ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 38 minutes LIVIUS UNITED MLS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eugen Mihălțan who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Nils Helberg getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 made a substitution. Christoffel Bracke replaced Özalp Erdönmez. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcu Iosub was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Lucrețiu Ghimiș sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yanick Knecht narrowly saved just below the crossbar. ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Eliodor Gheban was substituted for Eugen Mihălțan. Leonid Afteni kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Timo Courtois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonid Afteni in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Lucrețiu Ghimiș nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yanick Knecht made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 74th minute, Leonid Afteni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yanick Knecht made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Irinel Tatomir in the 75th minute of play. In the 87th minute Lucrețiu Ghimiș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yanick Knecht saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yanick Knecht came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Lucrețiu Ghimiș. But to his dismay, Lucrețiu Ghimiș quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. When Gică Popescu fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's protests and gave Gică Popescu a yellow card for diving instead. Gică Popescu kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. LIVIUS UNITED MLS's Marcu Iosub got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, Lucrețiu Ghimiș had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yanick Knecht. LIVIUS UNITED MLS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucrețiu Ghimiș was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of LIVIUS UNITED MLS for a fine match.
