Dinu Oardă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Espírito Santo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute Juventus PTM were awarded a corner. Vidar Albäck went to the cornerflag to take it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victor Lucila in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Gazza saved Juventus PTM from getting behind. 18 minutes into the match, Juventus PTM's goal looked a bit too open when Ernest Oprescu came free, but Armando Gazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20th play minutes Raimundo Espírito Santo shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Dinu Oardă and just under the crossbar into goal. Dinu Oardă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Espírito Santo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yenal Tanır came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dinu Oardă could save by the left post. Ernest Oprescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Gazza having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victor Lucila was the one to do the kick off. Juventus PTM were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vidar Albäck took the corner. Raimundo Espírito Santo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dinu Oardă having to make a save. Juventus PTM's Ferdinand Honcioiu was substituted for Raimundo Espírito Santo. Juventus PTM's Lucrețiu Ghercioiu was substituted for Florentin Clarisse. Koray Karan made in the 65th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Sorin Gurlui. Erman Uğuz made in the 74th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Juventus PTM's Koray Karan. If Ferdinand Honcioiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 78th minute Ferdinand Honcioiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinu Oardă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Florin Ciorobîtcă hit a great ball. After having played for 80 minutes, Ferdinand Honcioiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juventus PTM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferdinand Honcioiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd minute, Ferdinand Honcioiu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Juventus PTM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Dinu Oardă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinand Honcioiu in the 85th minute of play. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Ferdinand Honcioiu sped through MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dinu Oardă. In the 92nd minute, Yenal Tanır ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dinu Oardă was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Juventus PTM's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
