In the 4th minute of the match, İrfan Attar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Călin Prunaru was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 6th minute Adrian Isbășoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandu Vlaicu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cătălin Agulescu in the 10th minute of play forced FC Urzicuța's goalkeeper Sandu Vlaicu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sandu Vlaicu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor Axelsson in the 12th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Dacian Mustăcilă was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC MCM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Urzicuța the free kick. A collision led to FC MCM getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Dacian Mustăcilă hit a great ball. FC Urzicuța were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after FC MCM's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cristi Chivu took the corner. Sandu Vlaicu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Isbășoiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. With a little luck, FC MCM's Călin Prunaru got control of the ball when İrfan Attar tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 30th minute, FC Urzicuța's Aurel Beldeanu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Călin Prunaru. Călin Prunaru yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 35thth minute of the game Aurel Beldeanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC MCM's Călin Prunaru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to FC MCM getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Viktor Axelsson hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, FC Urzicuța's İrfan Attar got a free kick in the 39th minute. After 42 minutes of play, FC Urzicuța's Aurel Beldeanu made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Călin Prunaru was left in no man's land by his defense there! 48 minutes into the match, FC MCM's goalkeeper Călin Prunaru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by İrfan Attar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell İrfan Attar to make the kick off. Călin Prunaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İrfan Attar, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Călin Prunaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İrfan Attar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Viktor Axelsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Sandu Vlaicu made a huge save. In the 61st minute, Eusebiu Astafei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristi Chivu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Călin Prunaru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. FC Urzicuța's Sandu Vlaicu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cătălin Agulescu in the 68th minute of play. With a little luck, FC Urzicuța's Sandu Vlaicu got control of the ball when Viktor Axelsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 86th minute İrfan Attar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Călin Prunaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, FC MCM's goal looked a bit too open when İrfan Attar came free, but Călin Prunaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aurel Beldeanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Călin Prunaru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. If Apolo Mingo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FC Urzicuța's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
