In the 7th minute, Marius Rizea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ovidiu Caranfil came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Peretu City 09's Ramiro Paul. But to his dismay, Ramiro Paul quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 11th minute Ramiro Paul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Caranfil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramiro Paul's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ovidiu Caranfil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Peretu City 09 were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Club Vertigo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Truls Roll took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Claudiu Creteanu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ovidiu Caranfil quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Club Vertigo's goalie and right to Ramiro Paul. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Club Vertigo's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 20 minutes into the match, Club Vertigo's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Paul came free, but Ovidiu Caranfil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ovidiu Caranfil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Paul in the 22nd minute of play. The Peretu City 09 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Aurelian Mănescu hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After the first half Peretu City 09 were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a little luck, Club Vertigo's Ovidiu Caranfil got control of the ball when Ramiro Paul tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ovidiu Caranfil was a little too slow when Ramiro Paul got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 0-3. In the 64thth minute of the game Ramiro Paul who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Vertigo's Ovidiu Caranfil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelian Mănescu in the 66th minute of play forced Peretu City 09's goalkeeper Francesco Toldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian de Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Ovidiu Caranfil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peretu City 09's Vito Silva was substituted for Cristian de Lima. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Ramiro Paul sped through Club Vertigo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ovidiu Caranfil. When Ramiro Paul came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Peretu City 09 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramiro Paul couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramiro Paul in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ovidiu Caranfil saved Club Vertigo from getting behind. 85 minutes into the match, Peretu City 09's Ramiro Paul sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ovidiu Caranfil narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Vertigo's goalkeeper Ovidiu Caranfil, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Club Vertigo booed when Peretu City 09 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marin Bosânceanu didn't get a good kick on the ball.
