The Club Vertigo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ovidiu Caranfil should have stopped the shot. After 18 minutes Club Vertigo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Li Ke who took care of the corner kick. Ovidiu Caranfil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mattias Tingelholm in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Nicu Lucescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ovidiu Caranfil was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Ovidiu Caranfil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicu Lucescu in the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute Nicu Lucescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Caranfil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iulian Şteflea helped the player get up and apologised. The crowd rose to their feet as Nicu Lucescu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ovidiu Caranfil. That made the score 0-3 in the 79 minute of play. Ovidiu Caranfil made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Mattias Tingelholm sent off a good shot on target. Club Vertigo's Ovidiu Caranfil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Club Vertigo from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Hondo in the 85th minute of play forced Club Vertigo's goalkeeper Ovidiu Caranfil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Ovidiu Caranfil successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ovidiu Caranfil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aubrey Ciobica in the 91st minute of play. The Club Vertigo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Fc Camerunul ★DAC★ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
