Radu Tarchilă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iustinian Comăneci in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iustin Lupescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 93 minutes of play, SuperDepor's Răzvan Anghel made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iustin Lupescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SuperDepor had won after a very even match.
